Vegetables and Weight Loss
By Brian Gallichan
Vegetables have been known to effect great weight loss in the individuals who eat them. Vegetables, along with fruit are the most basic foods that grow on Earth.
But, although they are the most basic of foods, vegetables contain more vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll, fiber, and enzymes than any other food.
You may have known a person who has tried to eat extra vegetables for weight loss. This article will detail some reasons why you should eat lots of vegetables if you want to lose maximum weight.
Raw vegetation is the only food that man should put into his body. People have recently begun to eat vegetables for weight loss because vegetables are so nutrient dense, yet contain so few calories.
You could eat vegetables all day long without gaining a single pound of weight. In fact, you would lose a lot of weight and be a lot healthier than if you were to continue eating cooked, processed foods.
If you eat only raw vegetables and exclude meat, dairy, flour, sugar and salt from your diet, you will be much healthier, and you will likely find that all of your physical ailments quickly disappear.
A second reason that vegetables are eaten for weight loss is because eating vegetables will provide you with less sodium and more fiber.
Because of their low sodium content, vegetables will immediately flush the water weight right out of your system, and you are likely to lose at least five pounds immediately after you begin eating vegetables. The large fiber content of vegetables will also eliminate toxic waste that is putrefying in your system.
